If you were to browse the array of festive cards available, you might be fooled into thinking that we in the UK are greeted with a thick blanket of snow around the end of December every year.
I have witnessed enough Christmases to know that this is not the general case, and present a more representitive meteorological scenario.
There's still a thin layer of snow here in the Midlands, the roads are clear though. Just my look to do that photo this year when it's looking like it might be a white Christmas afterall!
